ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) — Today’s 98.3 TRY social dilemma comes from Chelsea and is about credit cards and dating. Here is his email:
Hello, Jaime. I was hoping to get your thoughts on something for the social dilemma. So long story short, I went out on a first date with a guy I met walking my dog the other day. Great guy, really cute and he loves dogs. So what could go wrong? Well, he doesn’t have a credit card for one. Yeah, when the check came he pulled out some cash and I didn’t hesitate until I pulled out my credit card to try to go to Dutch which he refused because he wanted to pay. But he told me he didn’t even have a credit card. How can a 44 year old man not have a credit card? He said he had a debit card and preferred to use cash. He thinks the credit cards are a scam. I think in some ways he might be right, but as far as I know he has really bad credit or is some kind of criminal or something. What do you think? Should I trust a man who doesn’t own or have a credit card? Did I mention he’s cute and loves dogs? Anyway, what do you think? Thanks a lot!

Personally, I don’t think it matters that he doesn’t have a credit card. And since you have no idea why it is again, I’d give it a shot. That’s what I think anyway.
