Should men get physical if a guy insults their wife?

ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) — Today’s 98.3 TRY social dilemma has to do with that slap in the face from Will Smith, but not in the way you probably think. Here is the email I received.

Hi Jaime. I just had to write you about it. That stupid Oscar slap was the worst thing that ever happened to me! 20 years ago (20 YEARS!!!) my wife and I were at a Yankees game when a drunk guy behind us spilled his beer and it spilled all over his stuff under our seats. I didn’t do anything, but what was I supposed to do, reverse time? My wife always thought I should have fought that 300lb in the stadium. Now, whenever a case like “Supreme Protector” Will Smith pops up, it’s all kickstarted. Will women lose more respect for their man if, A) he does nothing…or, B) gets his back kicked in a fight? I hate that this all happened and has now brought it all back. Please help me and maybe my wife will let go. Thank you~ Rich.

Wow. Well, personally, I’m never a fan of violence. And yeah, that guy at the baseball game looks like he got overdone and it affected everyone around him. But no, I’m not a big fan of beating up a guy because his beer ended up in my wallet. But that’s my point of view.

What do you think? Should men beat willy-nilly guys who do or say something offensive. And why can’t women protect themselves? Let’s talk and tell me what you think TRY the Facebook page.
