ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – Today’s 98.3 TRY social dilemma is about Saturday morning. Here is the email I received.
Hi Jaime, this is Corinne and I’m a long time listener and I think you and your listeners would be the perfect people to settle a debate my husband and I are having about when he should start a strong project this weekend. end. My husband is very excited to pressure wash our house on Saturday and then put up a giant gazebo on Sunday. Both projects will be noisy and probably very annoying for our neighbors, who are sometimes old and grumpy. My husband wants to start at 7am for both projects hoping to be done by noon and have the rest of his day. I think it shouldn’t start before 9-9:30 so as not to disturb our neighbors on weekends. He said landscapers start at that time, so why shouldn’t he be allowed to. I say just because landscapers start then doesn’t mean it’s good and he should start later to be respectful. When do you think is the best time to start? Thanks a lot.

Well, I’m definitely with Corinne on this one. I usually get up at 7:00 a.m. on weekends, but I would never start a noisy project before 9:00 a.m. People deserve to sleep on weekends. That’s my point of view anyway.
